The three jackpots are dubbed the Mini, Midi, and Maxi, and these seed at £10, £300, and £700, respectively. At the time of writing, these jackpots had reached much more impressive values of £200, £1,000, and £1,500, although the frequency with which each is likely to hit varies dramatically. Drop Pots BingoThe theme of Drop Pots Bingo isn’t anything special, sadly. However, the colour scheme does look pretty, and Pragmatic Play’s bingo software makes much better use of the available screen real estate than many other competing platforms. As for other similar games, I guess you could relate this to just about any other 90-Ball game – it plays very similarly, just with the addition of three much larger prizes than you would usually find on offer.
The tickets used in Drop Pots are typical of the 90-Ball format – three rows of nine squares each, five of which contain numbers, whilst the other four stay empty. Each game offers three prizes – the one-line prize stood at £14 at the time I played, whilst the two-line and full-house prizes were slightly more impressive at £18 and £24, respectively. It’s worth noting that these numbers work out to roughly 125x, 150x, and 200x the cost of a single ticket as well – that’s great if you only bought one ticket, but not so much if you went for the maximum of 72 per round!

Drop Pots Bingo GameplayThere’s no special knowledge required to participate in Drop Pots Bingo – it’s standard 90-Ball bingo for the most part, so you may find it helpful to head to our bingo guide page before you start to play. As with most other 90-Ball games, each round offers three prizes. The first player to complete one of the three lines on their ticket will collect the smallest payout, with increasingly bigger awards for filling two or three lines later in the round. Should more than one player hit these combinations on the same call, the prize is divided equally between them.

Drop Pots Bingo Winning PlayerSo far, so standard then as far as Drop Pots Bingo is concerned – these jackpots really do have some heavy lifting to do if they are going to separate the game from the pack, aren’t they… thankfully, they don’t disappoint!

The ‘Mini’ drop pot requires you to complete your bingo card in 34 calls or less, increasing by five calls after every round until the prize is won. It only seeds at £10 but is available between 6 am and 1 am daily.
The ‘Midi’ pot is where things begin to get interesting – this requires you to fill your card in less than 32 calls, but that numbers also increase after every three rounds until the prize is won. The Midi pot seeds at £300 and is available between 3 pm and 8 pm each day.
Finally, the big one – the ‘Maxi’ pot – requires you to fill an entire card in 30 calls or less. That’s a big ask, for sure, but the reward is equally large – a minimum of £700. The number of calls required increases by one after each round until the prize is won, but this can take some time as it is only available between 9 pm and 10 pm each day.

Plain old 90-Ball bingo rooms don’t tend to interest me that much – even if the room is packed with players, the full house prize usually ends up being far too small for my liking. The addition of three additional prizes in Drop Pots Bingo is a great solution, although it’s a shame that the Maxi Pot doesn’t trigger too frequently.
