Age of the Gods BingoThe ticket prices for Age of the Gods Bingo seem to vary wildly at different times of the day. I noticed tickets being offered for as little as 5p each at some times and as much as 25p at others. The number of tickets you can purchase per game also changes in accordance with the number of players in the room at the time – you can buy just a single ticket per game if you wish, but the maximum is something of a mystery – I observed limits of 60 and 120 tickets per game, but it’s also possible that you may be able to purchase even more if the room is especially quiet during off-peak hours.
As you might expect, with such a wide range of ticket prices and quotas, the prizes offered in Age of the Gods Bingo are likely to vary wildly as well. To give you a rough idea, when tickets were priced at 10p each, I saw average payouts of 67x, 148x, and 337x the price of a single ticket for one line, two lines, or the full house prize, respectively. The full house price can be bumped up significantly if you get lucky in the Arena of the Gods bonus round, however!

Age of the Gods Bingo gameplayAs a 90-Ball bingo game, each ticket or card purchased contains three rows, each with five numbers printed on them. The first player to cross off all five numbers on one of these rows will win the initial one-line prize, after which any subsequent players to complete a single line will not be awarded a win.
This process repeats for the two-line prize; there is no requirement to complete two adjacent lines or specific lines on a particular ticket. You can fill the top and bottom lines or the top or bottom two lines – it really doesn’t matter. The two-line prize is usually substantially larger than that paid for a single line, but of course, the full house prize is even larger still!

Playtech certainly took a risk by converting such a popular franchise to an entirely new game format – if they had got it wrong, few bingo players would likely ever have an interest in trying the Age of the Gods online slots. Thankfully, Playtech didn’t make any such mistakes here – this is a solid 90-Ball game, so much so that I wasn’t put off by the lack of a progressive jackpot at all.
