This is a very unusual bingo game in several ways, starting with its count of 36 balls. Cash Cubes from developer Playtech doesn’t look like other online bingo games – it’s a speed bingo game of the highest order, with every ticket containing just 12 numbers. Your numbers are positioned on three of the surfaces of a cube – the maximum you can see without having to turn it around – and typically offers prizes of between 25x and 100x the total bet.
Playing the game in a simplified view will transform the three-dimensional cubes into a flat surface where the numbers are positioned around the edges instead. Each round offers a prize, known as the four cubes prize, although there is also a community progressive jackpot that seeds at £500. The ‘cube collection’ bonus reminds me a little of the wishing well feature from Rainbow Riches bingo – even if you don’t happen to win a particular game, you can still earn a little bonus over the long term by completing enough cubes during play.

Cash Cubes BingoThe tickets used in Cash Cubes bingo are amongst the strangest you will see, no matter whether you view them as three-dimensional cubes or the flat 2D simplified mode. In either case, your ticket comprises 12 numbers, and you’ll need to hit every one of them to collect the prize for that round. The only games I could mention that are vaguely similar to Cash Cubes are other speed bingo games such as Mystic Meg and Burst Bingo.
Each round of Cash Cubes only offers a single prize, known as the ‘four cubes’ prize'. I prefer to play the game with the simplified ticket view, as in this mode, it’s much easier to keep track of your progress throughout the game. Each time a number is called that appears on the edge of one of your cubes, it will light up in yellow. When all four edges become lit, the cube will break out and move to the bottom of the screen. Even if you don’t win the round, it’s still good to unlock as many cubes as possible – see the Cube Collection feature section below for further details.

Best Odds Bingo GameplayWe don’t have an article on 36-Ball bingo, as this is the only game I know that uses such an odd number! We do have articles on various other speed bingo games, including 30-Ball and 40-Ball, though, and the Cash Cubes game plays out very similarly to others which use those formats. Before you can play, you’ll need to purchase a ticket – each player is only allowed one ticket per round, but multiple stake options are available. At the time that I played, these were set at £0.50, £1.00, £5.00, and £10.00, but I also witnessed a few rounds where a £2.00 ticket was in play as well.
Each round of Cash Cubes offers a single prize, paid to the first player who manages to break open all four cubes on their ticket. You’ll need to hit all four numbers on the surrounding edge to do this. Some edges cover multiple sides of the cube, which is why we end up with 12 numbers per ticket rather than 16. If two players happen to hit their 12th number on the same call, the payout for that round will be divided equally between them.

Every time you break open a cube whilst playing this game, it will be added to your permanent collection. There are four different collections, one for each of the four available stake options, and each has a different payout once you manage to amass 50 cubes:

The Cash Cubes jackpot is specific to this game only, so it doesn’t tend to reach hugely insane amounts! The jackpot seeds at £500, and 5% of the ticket price paid by every player will contribute to increasing this amount until the prize is won.
Whenever a jackpot is triggered, the entire prize is divided amongst everybody playing during that round. Those with cheaper tickets will receive proportionally less than those with more expensive ones. Therefore, if your bankroll permits, I’d always recommend playing with the more expensive tickets.
