Bubble Up Bingo is a relatively new 90-Ball bingo variant that was launched to coincide with the launch of a brand-new bingo site named Double Bubble Bingo. Despite this, you can still find the game available to play at other Gamesys-based bingo sites, including Jackpot Joy, which is where I played a few rounds of the game. Prizes offered in this game tend to be relatively high in my experience – tickets were priced at just 10p each during the time that I was writing this review, and yet the one-line, two-line, and full-house prizes were still paying in the region of 50x, 200x, and 600x the cost of a single ticket respectively.
Bubble Up Bingo also offers a slightly secretive double-up feature; I say ‘slightly secretive’ as this wasn’t well advertised as far as I could see, and I only learned about the feature by reading the discussions going on in the chat and by reading other reviews of the game elsewhere on the web! In addition to the double-up feature, there’s also a ‘Super 7’ progressive jackpot feature to discover – more on both of these special features later!

Bubble Up BingoThe theme of Bubble Up bingo doesn’t include quite as many bubbles as you might expect, surprisingly! Each bingo ball is pushed out of what looks like a pipe of sorts, and I guess they are intended to be bubbles, but the art style does not really depict this very well. Whilst the winner presentation page does feature a bubble effect, and there are some bubble-style bingo balls floating up the screen in the background, I do feel as if the theme could have been done a little better than this. Perhaps things are better over at Double Bubble Bingo?
The tickets used in Bubble Up Bingo will be instantly familiar to anybody who has played 90-Ball bingo before – three rows of nine spaces, five of which contain numbers, and four of which are empty. Three prizes are awarded during each round; the first is paid for filling a single line on one of your tickets – it doesn’t matter if it’s the top, middle, or bottom line, just so long as you match all five possible numbers! A second prize is paid when two lines of a single ticket are filled, with the third and final ‘full house’ prize being paid to – or shared by – the player(s) who complete all 15 possible numbers on a single ticket.
At the time of writing, a single ticket cost 10p to purchase, with a limit of 60 tickets per player per round. According to the game rules, however, ticket prices can reach as low as just a penny each at certain times of the day – or as high as £2 each at others. The number of tickets each player can purchase per game can also change depending on the time of day and how busy the room is.

Like the Double Up feature, the jackpot offered in Bubble Up bingo is again based on hitting the prize on a specific number. In this case, you’ll need to hit the full house prize with a number seven as the final ball on your ticket. The prize for achieving this currently stands at over £420 – that’s more than 4,200x the cost of a single ticket to play – and records show that the jackpot can grow even larger than this at times!
Better yet, this is a solo jackpot, too, meaning the whole amount is yours to keep if you are lucky enough to be one to hit that magical Super 7!

- The ‘Double Up’ feature is relatively unique – I haven’t seen anything similar offered in any other bingo games until now.
- The ‘Super 7’ jackpot is much easier to hit than a typical progressive!

It's rare that I can't come up with anything to write in the ‘Cons’ section of a bingo game, but this is one such rare occasion! Excellent work by Gamesys and Double Bubble Bingo on this one – it's one of my new favourite online bingo games at the moment!
